Couldn't get into it...but wanted to

I'm guilty as charged, I compared this to the original TV series in late 80's with Edward Woodward, a tough act to follow.

Except for Queen, the story, the details, the dialogue and the whole "feeling" of the show didn't work. McCall's daughter, the very young female shooting tires out of van with an assault weapon, McCall's water boarding and quick subsequent release by her people, come on now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did McCall get out of a Jag SUV that we saw for a second? The original McCall rolled in a beautiful old Jag.

When I rate and review shows/movies I try my best to NOT look at such before mine. I'm eager to see what the consensus was for this.

I'll give it a watch, and I hope it gets better...much better.
