It's not hysterically funny, but it's charming at times. I would definitely can it more quirky than anything else. I like that almost all the characters are going through growth/changes in the show. They're not static so no one seems like a random background character. Another reviewer said that the main character Elsa was too much of a push over and helpless without a man, but that's the point: she is learning to be stronger! And I think we see that. I like the ambiguous ending personally. But I would love another season! I adore Julio, but I think it would be better if Elsa continues to reject him to be strong on her own.
