Why a new show with Gruffudd as pathologist?

Well, if a TV network is going to produce a crime drama with Ioan Gruffudd as a pathologist why not do a second season of Forever?

On its own, the TV series is mediocre, normal detective drama. However, if you were a fan of Forever, it would be difficult to watch this, as Gruffudd is playing a very similar character devoid of the supporting cast and exciting storylines that made Forever a fantastic TV series.

Overall, if one has never watched Forever and really likes crime dramas, it would be a nice entertaining show.
