I watched Dead Pixels with an open mind knowing nothing about it, and about halfway through the first episode I began wondering if it was a comedy or not. I honestly laughed 0 times.
The characters are all detestable and have no rapport with each other, the writing is abysmal and the dialogue is terrible. Dead Pixels fails in every way possible. I can't think of any redeeming features.
The main character is so jarring. It's very obvious that it was written by a man who doesn't know how to write female parts. That said, the male roles were just as bad if not worse. You can see that it wants to be puerile, but it fails at that too, because this isn't how people talk. Everything The Inbetweeners or Fresh Meat did right, this show does wrong.
I genuinely cannot believe how bad Dead Pixels is. I feel like even if you were intentionally trying to write a bad show, it would end up better than this.
