This programme has the potential to go on for years and years. Lets face it, Benidorm will always be there, the Brits will continue to go and there will always be characters like those portrayed that everyone can associate with.
Even if Benidorm (the programme) becomes stale there are lots of other destinations that could be used with the same characters.....Ibiza, Majorca, Turkey etc etc. They all have the same 'kind' of guests week in week out.
It made a pleasant change in the second series that they have ventured outside the AI hotel for scenes and went to see the 'local' bullfight.
The bee-all and end-all is that this is brilliantly written, brilliantly acted and is my must-see programme every week.
This should be included in Media Studies courses and the National Curriculum showing how to write a perfect comedy script!
