Surreal, nonsensical. Rips a new hole in your conscience-ness.

As is seemingly common with most of the hit and miss, good or utter trash shows on Adult Swim, "Xavier: Renegade Angel" is one of those things you can't really explain to its fullest appeal.

The best I could try is:

A computer animated series about a furry thing with a snake arm called Xavier who is vagabonding a surreal world in search of knowledge, people to help, minds to blow, and the "arsonist" who killed his father. As well as many flashbacks to his youth, a chief master guru who gives what can loosely be considered "advice", and experiences with a wide variety of equally surreal characters.

Arsonist in quotes because his father claimed it was "Our son" and Xavier mistook this to mean "Arson".

I found the dialogue in particular to be some of the more hilarious aspects, featuring nonsensical philosophical and spiritual ramblings that mostly reveal and revolve around nothing.

It's clearly the sort of show that is going to have people really really hate it, and I can't even begin to address people who hate it, much less even those who love it.

Perhaps try to read some quotes from the series, and see if it will, blow your mind or something.

"One time I created something. Called it a 'thurrito'. It's a burrito, within a burrito, within the heart of that same burrito! It's a total mind-blinder, but you don't hear me braggin' about it all over YOUR face."

((Arguing with a clone of himself)) "You only have one peni?" "Let me see it!" "See it with your eyes not with your mouth!!" "I'll call your bluff! I'll see your pen!s with your mouth, and I raise you with my hand!"

"Powers are for the weak; I have no powers. I mean, unless you count the power to blow minds, with my weapons-grade philosophical insights. I'm a thoughtocauster, I'm a conundrumer, in a band called Life Puzzler."

"Hell, I've flipped more lids than a monkey, in a soup kitchen, of the mind! Does that make me a hero?"

"God has put me through his reamer, but I've come out the other side with his calling in my ear!"

"I'm a feminist! I'll make sexism my bitch. Sexism will be all like, "Oh Xavier! You're so strong! I love you! Kissy kissy! You can hit me.'"

"If these be my last words, then I'd like to leave this world with one final thought: ME NO WANNA DIE, MOMMY! WAAAAAH!"

"((Entering a realm where the world unfolds in reverse, Xavier comes across a man hit by a car))

I'm too late. If I had been at this poor meat in time, he'd still be a delicious man.

((Car reverses over the man, and he comes back to life))

Huh! In this odd dominion, driving backwards over people can mend them! ((Xavier gets in a car and drives backwards down the street))

People, hurry, get *in* the way! I'm committing vehicular manburger helper, and it tastes like pure liquid relief. Best part is, I'm helping the earth, getting negative thirty miles to the gallon! Oh, the cops wanna hone in on my heal-deal. I'll let them co-bask in my reflective glory!"
