I haven't read the book, because it's normally not my kind of thing, and as this is an adaptation, it would have been a waste of time! as I don't want to compare, which is exactly what a lot of people are doing on here, wrongly so! Move out of your stale life!! if you want to watch something old with no feeling or excitement, then please don't watch this! And It's absolutely pointless you commenting on it!!
It is NOT impossible to make a good series that differs from the book, whether slightly, or a lot! Even commenting on the modern (beautiful) music is a waste of time, as you clearly don't understand what's going on here!
The serious is elegant, and beautifully so. It is, and I found it to be most exquisite in every way, including the two main girls, and the rest of the cast too, it's well worth the watching, and I can imagine it getting better as the series goes on.. How people can write bad views when they haven't watched the whole thing is beyond me, a bit thick!
Hope it goes from strength to strength!
