One welcomes coverage of the theme but here it is dealt with by, I suspect, a team of writers unable to combine to create a coherent plot. Police suddenly become devoid of intelligence, implausible chains of events take place in which the timing also doesn't always make sense, a French police commissaire features who is way beyond the retirement age and the ending; good god, how stupid do they think the viewers are as they pull our heart strings and ask us to suspend all grip on reality?
Two stars, all the same, because it is nicely filmed. Well done the cameraman for emerging with credit from this turkey.
