I am a huge fan of David Mitchell and of intelligent comedy...this may well have a similar set up to the genius of Edmund Blackadder, and so what....I see no problem with Mr Elton using a tried and trusted template that he knows works....I watch Blackadder complete box set multiple times a year and don't find the need to continually measure this production scene for scene against it....they can both exist and be hilarious and clever in their own right.
We need more of this top notch programming with quality intelligent actors/comedians !!
