Little relationship to real people and how they behave

I approached this drama with some optimism but about halfway through gave up and switched off. there were just too many unreal elements in it. We are asked to believe that a newly elected indigenous MP would (a) be left without anyone trying to bend her ear during her first evening in Canberra (she'd be mobbed by MPs trying to get her onside) and (b) have sex with a stranger in a stairwell. Neither is at all believable and destroy the credibility of the character and, hence, the whole program. A drama needs to be credible. this one isn't. Sorry.
