I loved this! A guilty pleasure. The actors did their best with the ridiculous storyline set in Colombian coffee fincas. Makes a change from drug lords I suppose! The lead role of sexy Fabrizio, the Mexican interloper who runs a coffee shop on the plantation, was played with smouldering style by the gorgeous Jason Day a sort of Latino Poldark! Fab Fabrizio is having affairs with the sexy younger wife of a rival coffee baron, the daughter of his boss and his bosses neurotic wife! The sex scenes are pretty PG but there's a fair amount of macho posturing and violence. I was quite upset when the gorgeous Fabrizio was killed off at the beginning of episode 9 as the show sort of fell to pieces without him and the ending was a bit disappointing. All in all, a hot blooded romance with a bit of violence and excitement all set in the glorious countryside of Colombia - well shot with pretty high production values for this sort of fare. Dubbed in English. I prefer the actors to speak their own language with English subtitles but it's a small minus. Enjoyable nonsense.
