not the toughest race but it is the most boring

First off, how could this possibly be the toughest race when all the participants are stacked and categorized by country, gender, age, race, ethnicity, family dynamics, military background, personal challenges in the form of infirmities and physical/mental handicaps, sexual persuasion and so on so that everyone gets represented. Actually, there's quite a few categories missing but still, why not just skip the race altogether and just make up a suite of human interest stories that will appeal to everyone and skip all the theatrics.

Okay, so maybe the race participation wasn't engineered and this is really a legitimate race, what kind of race have you ever seen that's directed like this. Every few mins they're switching around to interview and change focus to teams that are not the front runners. Imagine watching nascar where every few mins they break to focus on the cars that have been lapped 30, 40 times already. At least nascar is simpler because everybody's making left turns.

Toughest race? I don't think so. It's no barkley marathon or Marathon des Sables and either is this show. The producers should stick to scripting 'survivor' instead of turning races like this one into professional wrestling.
