It's really good story telling

I think it's interesting when people say they've only seen a few episodes but don't understand why the film crews are focusing on the teams they are. It's good story telling! You will not know that until the end. Multiple story archs. Loveable characters. You grow to care for the competitors and empathize with their pain and suffering. I recommend you watch with a box of tissues. No spoiler. You'll know it when you see it. I followed adventure racing when Eco-Challenge was on Discovery Network years ago. I'm so happy it's back and looking forward to seeing the Patagonia race next year.
