Look, I'll get to the point.
This show is like just American wrestling, it even has all the sissy drama. Everything is rigged and set up. If you're looking to learn from real survival situations, look elsewhere, because this isn't it.
To all you believers who mentioned on your reviews how great, realistic this is, I'll do you a favor and point it out to you.
You are sadly being deceived. You should easily be able to tell by simple things that these survivors are surrounded by tons of cameramen, supplies and equipment. Be observant like you should be out there and notice the camera angles, the lack of dirt on the survivors or their luck on finding brand new tools and refuge.
I mean, it's a no-brainer, but hey, if you don't believe me, I'll give you an example. Right on my first go at trying to watch this, the survival duet "found" a brand new backpack with a ton of brand new gear. Even a brand new telescope! Do you honestly believe that anyone would leave something like this behind in the middle of nowhere and that it would still remain brand new? This whole thing is just ridiculous.
