Delighted to just learn this show was canceled due to an apparent incident of animal cruelty by one of the hosts. HOWEVER, the basic flaw in the production were the contrived "survival" situations in which the various two member teams enacted implausible situations that even a Boy Scout circa 1950 would nave known how to survive.
I was particularly struck by an episode in the Norwegian mountains in which one of the pair was garbed in shorts and a heavy sweater while climbing mountains in apparent sub-zero temperatures with blowing snow and 50-MPH winds. Only an absolute fool would fail to seek shelter in such conditions. Their exposure to frostbite was so obvious all their exposed skin was cherry red.
After watching at least five episodes I could cite at least 10 incidents of totally incompetent survival techniques and/or comments made by these "experts." What a farcical production!
