This show is a shameful attempt to capitalize on sexism in sports. It does not promote or align with feminism in any way. It is a contrived attempt at appearing to support gender equality and womens rights by people who don't espouse those beliefs and want to make some money off of whats topical. It actually perpetuates anti feminist ideals, like feminism being equated with the 'man hating' and matriarchy loving extremists, rather than true equality.
Equally as damaging, it perpetuates the idea that a woman must be 'model pretty' to be valued and included in the first place....Even though it would be pointless to allow women in sports if their appearance still effected their value as a player, when a mans does not. If the show wanted to actually be relate-able to women, they should have cast an actress for her throwing ability rather than her appearance. Practice what you preach!
