Shioru is an avarage high school teenager who has this apply to look into a basic structure with his. He finds himself cornered into a fight with lancer and uses his powers the first to summon a strong female warrior by the name of Saber. Shirou learns about the holy wars and must contribute to end it.
I have heard bad things about this adaption especially since studio deen wasn't very well received at the time with it's uneven animation and adaptions though I personally though it was pretty decent.
The voce cast including Sam Riegel, Kate Higgins, Stephanie Sheh, Mela Lee, Jamieson Price, Grant George and Liam O'Brein all did a good job voicing their characters.
It might not be the best adaptation since I know the franchise has grown a lot since then but it's decent if you want to have a bit of a feel of the series.
