The lead character quoted this show as "mad max meets little house on the prairie". I know it has shades of MadMax but I have never heard of the little house. This show is about a clan of people called Farrells who does not have any communication with outside society. They live in their own world. Not surprisingly, they are sitting on one of the largest coal mines and so people want them out of their living place. I had a lot of questions while watching the show like where do they get electricity from, where did they get all ATVs's, wine distillery equipment from? Apart from the plot holes, I could not stop watching the episode. It was pretty interesting and involving. The actors were great and the accent sounded authentic. This show has all the flavors in it. I would totally recommend it.
