As a writer, I cry to think of the resources (knee high bootees and Botox wrinkle fillers for the two mis-cast leads), the money and time on a skeletal plot with no themes, no characterisation and a dialogue that substitutes for pace and movement and pace and movement that make up for a travelogue - I want to scream but that would overcompensate the minimal emotion in this sad, weary, creaky turkey. How could the talent not spot this early on and get changes? Pass the sick bag Alice.
