It's surprises me of the previous reviews. Of course we all have our own person perspective. I found the show refreshing. I am an over the top DIY gal. I am almost religious about a good number of improvement shows out there. Watching couples work together is entertaining. It is easy to c who compliments the best. But none of the host are professing to b perfect. Finding fault in the individual can b easy when their live is being magnify in front of us. I believe the hosts life and interest can b helpful in designing bcuz a tru creator does their best work under a peaceful happy umbrella. Although its tru not everyone has that much square footage to work with. The ideas created are inspirational. Particularly luvd the mistake made in the basement. Made it so amazing. Also luvd how the beam that was exposed could b recover with reclaimed wood to match the others. As far as the white being a constant color. I liked the point that its easier to add accents of color than to keep changing out tile and or repainting. I had an Aunt who changed the color of her accents n her bathroom every season. Fortunately it was just towels, n rugs. And lastly hearing the personal challenges the host and her friends had but now able to live their best life, is also sooo moving.
