Sandisc Sansa Clip Frozen

I was just in the middle of changing the music on my wifes Sandisc Sansa Clip when it froze completely and none of the buttons work.On the screen it just says writing in orange.Cannot turn it off and have looked at the online manual and it says press something to the left but what it is pointing to is the volume control.Any help appreciated.

What would happen if I let the battery go completely flat and then try and turn it on.Just a thought,

Problem solved as I could not turn it off I let the battery completely discharge and then fully charged and it now works fine.
