USB keyboard to PC ?
...I have a friend who is partially sighted and has to use a LARGE BUTTON (kiddy type)keyboard plugged intohis PCvia USB (the PC is then linked to his 50 inch TV via HDMI).He is always pulling on the connection and wants to connect via wireless or bluetooth to give him a bit more distance...
Is there a way to connect this non wirelss non bluetoothUSB keyboard with a suitable adapter - either wireless or bluetooth ? USB is rather high bandwidth for a general wireless adapter to be available. They do get tried now and then, but are never around in large numbers or for very long. A wired extension is easy to get hold of and cheap though.
Do your friend have issues other than sight? It might be better for them to put the effort into learning where all the keys are so they don't need to rely on vision and can use normal keyboards. It's a skill that anyone who does plenty of typing soon acquires. ..thanks for reply....He's 70 years old andI feel that it's bit too late to learn touch typing particularly with his sight problem.... How about extending the length of the USB cable with a simple & cheap extension cable.
Otherwise upgrade to a
