Has anyone had a Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X apart?
I have taken the joystick apart to clean it and I am having a nightmare getting the rudder (Twist) to work!I know that the spring clip needs to be spaced by the white platform but when I connect it to the left side of the stick there is too much movement in the stick!
There does not seem to be any other way of doing it. I cannot get the clip any tighter around the two black (II) on the left stick.
I could use the ones above (II) that are wider apart but then I cannot get the two handles to meet coz the spring is then holding them too far apart.
How do I get this spring to clip around the lower (II) and have no movement?
Please help as I'm going out of my mind!
Thank you so much and awaiting your reply.
Darren... If this is in the wrong place, please can you tell me where I need to post it. Thank you The prongs in #4 look like they're the wrong way around. In that orientation the handle would be stretching the spring when twisting, while mechanisms like this often work the other way around.
If you swap them around by compressing the spring slightly does that help? Twist the crab claws by 180 degrees you mean? No, cross the crab's arms so that the one currently on the left is on the right right and vice versa.
EDIT: They won't end up looking crossed, but the ends will point outwards instead of inwards. I'll give that a go but that's not how I saw it in a video. But then again we didn't actually get to see him put it back together. The pic 4 was how it was showing but that doesn't mean he put it back together in that configuration. I'll try it. Thank you data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I cannot thank you enough. That's all it was. I can't believe its been foxing me for such a long time. All because I saw it like that in the video which made me think that's how it must go back together.
Your awesome, thank you so much data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I feel so stupid lol
