Mobile video storage

Hi, gang.

Going on a tour and will be taking a lot of video but won't have access to a computer or the cloud. I needto download content from the cameras (on cards) to a storage device but can't find a drive with a built in reader that isn't prohibitively expensive.

Can anyone suggest a solution, please?

Thanks in anticipation. https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/joypixels/[email protected]/png/64/1f44d.png

This is probably about the best on the market. You used to be able to get NAS drives with SD card readers, but not seen any recently.

Failing that, a Chromebook with external drive is probably about the same amount of money and you can easily back up to the cloud when you come across some internet!

I tend to use RAVPower FileHub Plus, Wireless Travel Router, and a portable hard drive. The Filehub will allow you to copy SD Card Files to the HD just using a Smart Phone app. It has its own built in battery, so can charge USB devices, built in SD card reader, WiFi Hotspot. Will support upto 4Tb HDD but doesn’t support Apple formatted HDDs. Small enough to throw into a pocket of a pair of jeans. £40 plus you will need a USB HDD.

Better still have a look at the updated version
