Much cooler this morning which helps when walking around.
Drove into Chicago, only 30mi but took over an hour with all the traffic and signals.

You know Chicago does look very nice but prefer the little towns you come across, much more interesting. Keep them pics coming though data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I have to agree to some extent. There's a lot of waiting to cross the road and restricted views due to tall buildings in cities.
We will be heading to O'Hare in the next few hours, so that's about it really data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I'll post the route when I can.

We were disappointed at Dublin airport by Stobart Air who pulled the flight 30 before departure. They flew us to Manchester (after a further delay) then 2 hours bounced around in a minivan full of others in the same predicament. Totally unplanned and disorganized on their part.
So, if I want to transport a pallet, Eddie Stobart can handle it. For my travel arrangement I will use absolutely anyone other than them.

To close this off.
My wife logged a complaint. Their first offer of compensation was to pay for any meals we purchased due to the delay' which we thought was unacceptable, particularly as we had already eaten and so didn't buy anything.
Their next offer was €250 per person, which we think is fair and so have accepted.

^ Result.Of course, you would have preferred things to go smoothly, but at least you got some compensation.
