Plus one for Shake Shack in Madison, i've tried the one in London and it wasn't a patch on that one. If you like mexican then I enjoyed the Taco place on E.39th attached to the Pod hotel. If your looking for a weird experience then sleep no more is an option very odd, wear a mask while walking about a play it's very odd.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Broadway show. Not a musical, I bloody hate musicals.

Ticket prices are insane though.

I'm not overly keen on Mexican food.

Book of mormon was very funny but horrifically expensive, sleep no more is a warehouse decked out like an old fashioned house, streets and hospital and the like and you wonder around while the actors ignore you doing the play. Very weird. TGalking of NYC is making me want to go back, perhaps April data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

The Irish Pub on 53rd and 7th is a great place. Even though it's close to Times Square it's not a typical tourist trap, great food, great beers, great service with plenty of locals. TV screens everywhere showing all kinds of sports data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Some very good discounts available if you ask at box office in person.Worth asking at the box offices. Some do a sort of system where you turn up at say 5 o'clock, add your name to a list and get entered in a free draw. We did try this but weren't successful, but the odds looked reasonable (I'd say about 50 people turned up for around 20 tickets)

If the weather's nice, walk the High Line.Basically a well-maintained mile-long park on an old el track on the west side, near the piers. Not the best views, but a very pleasant stroll. It's very popular with New-Yorkers, but not well-known outside.
