Airport Car Parking at Manchester?

We're heading off on holiday next Friday flying from Manchester. As we'll be driving down from Glasgow I wondered if anyone had some recommendations for airport car parking?

I could pick any random ones that come up on Google but thought I'd check in to see if anyone local has any specifics they'd recommend. I work at Media City a lot but I never drive, always fly or get the train.

EDIT - We're parking for one week from Friday 30th to Friday 7th.

You've left it late really to get a good deal and most of the official airport (Jet parks) are likely to be full. I use purple parking and they have parking at the terminal (1 or 2) for £90 for the week.

I would also add there are many dodgy park and ride operators at Manchester airport who'll dump your car in a pub in Benchill. Somewhere you don't want it leaving

Very reasonable I thought ....

Jetparks can be as little as £25 a week and is only 5 minutes away via shuttle. The prices for meet and greet are not too bad

Depending on the time of your flight, consider a park/stay/fly deal at one of the airport hotels. It often doesn't cost much more than parking alone.Clayton is OK for a starter; Hilton, Crowne Plaza and Radisson Blu are also all on-site - walkable to terminals if you like, even.

I agree with the park/stay/fly approach. We flew out of Manchester last month and stayed the night before at the Holiday Inn Express next to junction 6 of M56.Didn't know they did parking so had already booked at this place - Skypark Airport Parking. Very happy with service from SkyParkUK by the way. However I realised that daily parking rate at hotel, for our trip at least, was pretty much the same as SkyParkUK. So instead of - arrive hotel, dump bags n family, drive to SkyParkUK, drop off car, get SkyParkUK shuttle back to airport, short taxi ride from airport back to hotel - I could have just left car at hotel then used their free shuttle to get back there when we returned from holiday. Of course with something like SkyParkUK your car is a bit more secure than just sitting in hotel car park.

We did the same with Hilton last time we were up there and their price was lower for stay/park than just parking was coming up with any of the bigger companies so a discount, bed, 2 free drinks and breakfast.

In theory they move your car offsite, I believe, but both our tracker and out milometer showed the car hadn't moved from where we parked it for the very long weekend/short week break.
