Edinburgh, where to eat

Been to Edinburgh loads of times but for either drinking or the football, normally both.

Going with the a female friend and we will be eating out all the time, we are not fussy eaters but if anyone has any gems that they came across, would be great if you shared them.

Many thanks

Depends what you like but for a good breakfast you can't beat the city cafe near the tron just off the high street

Try the whiskey society dining room. The Dining room, Edinburgh — Scotch Malt Whisky Society
But make sure that you book as it is quite small

Yeah, it's not bad do you have a garden room or one of the whiskey suites? I've never managed to bag a suite as they're always booked but I hear they're pretty good.
