Travel Insurance with Pre-existing Conditions
A family member is having difficulty arranging travel insurance due to past/pre-existing/ongoing medical conditions which have resulted in a couple of the major insurers refusing insurance. Can anyone advise/recommend something for this situation? I'm guessing a specialist broker i.e. a human, rather than online, is the way to go? This has been an interesting thread.I have just come across medicaltravelcompared.co.uk which you input your conditions and they do a multi insurance company search for travel policies. I have used M and S and Direct Travel for my parents and both insured, but fingers crossed have not had to make a claim so not sure what they are like for paying out.
