The acoustics is so bad it is difficult to tell who is miming or not. It certainly gives the impression that the whole thing is pre caned

If the athletes have been kettled alphabetically, the section with Iran, Iraq and Israel could get tasty.

Jesus h christ. Annie ****ing Lennox.

That's it. I've had enough.

I love music and am proud of Britain's contribution to popular music, but this is becoming like Lennox without Dave Stewart - pointless.

There have been some really good bits so far and anything with a montage always gets me welling up, but what's been missing for me is the selection of songs. They have been quite poor no real 'party', make everyone happy and along.

They could have had someone far more upbeat then Elbow for the athletes to walk into, let Kaiser Chiefs do another upbeat song (after all they let George Michael do a god awful second song). There's just nothing to make it a party.
