What makes it more surprising is that he is useless. A very average golfer like most of the European team.

European best players aren't player well, which is why IMO they will get stuffed tomorrow.

Good god cheer up eh

I am more than cheery mate. About 10 pints helped with that

Me to m8 just felt good to feel a bit better in the last hour compared to the rest of the day

Some of the iron play on the last few holes (by both sides) was incredible.

But Poulter has been absolutely awesome.

I'm afraid I still can't see us making a comeback tomorrow unless we learn how to putt - tee to green we've been significantly superior to the Americans, and if we'd have matched them for putting we'd be at least 10-6 up by now, if not more.

Hopefully we'll get an exciting day tomorrow even if the final result goes against us.

Poulter Passion - thats what is needed.

Too many passengers for Europe so far. Westwood, Lawrie, Kaymer, Hanson, Molinari etc - Simply not good enough.

We need to change to 4 picks like the yanks so that we can pick players in form (a la Snedeker etc)

Would LOVE to see a fight back and we have top loaded the draw (Mcilroy against Bradley should be good).

American "rookies" have been superb so far.

I'd say the chances now of pulling of a draw/victory are about 100/1

Wonder if the bookies agree lol.

Only watched highlights so far but the americans (especially putting) seem to have been on fire.

Really surprised that Westwood has been below par.

Saw the rankings of all the players the other day and whilst we have about 4 of the top 5 in the world, the rest of the team were lower than most of the americans.

Given that a few of our big guns have not performed as one would have expected (and the fact that the USA have been electric), it's no surprise the score is as it is.

Always next time i guess.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
