I think that's why we haven't heard anything from GSP regarding the Silva fight.
It would be very unwise to look past Condit.
cant say im actually that bothered about the fight tbh watching GSP is like watching paint dry for me.But anyway i dont think the fight will happen what i do see happening is GSP losing to conduit and then taking on Diaz. If the mythical fight should go ahead id go Silva.But i disagree with Phil regarding his take down defense as im still not convinced after the sonnen fight.Howveer im not sure GSP will be strong enough or quick enough to dominate Silva either on the feet or ground.
I'd go GSP as well just because I don't think he would take the fight unless he was confident that he could win.
Whereas Silva just seems to be chasing the money now.

Seriously though, GSP is always very active from the top and has some excellent guard passing and even though Silva is better standing up GSP is no slouch there either.
Totally agree. Too many people jump to the conclusion that every points win by a wrestler is a lay'n'pray fest. GSP got slaughtered for his win against Hardy yet he was constantly looking for subs and nearly got them twice.
Matt Hughes was a wrestler but constantly active on the ground.
I think there is a difference between someone like Chael's ground game and GSP's. GSP is very much about the control and position, he does do damage from the ground but its "safe" when he does it. Chael or Randy on the other hand use a much more aggressive style on the ground.
Against a guy with no ground game at the time, who went on to lose his next three without even a whimper.
I'm not even saying that GSP will lay and pray him (I mean good luck with even attempting that).Just saying that if GSP wins he'll have to Greg Jackson it.Whereas Silva wins by k/o or sub.
