Tyson Gay Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Tyson Gay has tested positive for a banned substance and has pulled out of next months World ChampionshipsBBC Sport - Tyson Gay tests positive for banned substance Asafa Powell too. The sport has zero credibility now. I reckon Usain Bolt has been tipped off.
It seams to me that most people reckon all the top sprinters are doping (there might be an exception I accept, but it sure doesn't look like it now).
This year, Usain Bolt has been running about 3 or 4 tenths of a second slower than his best. Such is his natural talent, that is still fast enough to win races.
Perhaps a clean Bolt is on par with a doped 'typical' elite sprinter, and a doped Bolt is uncatchable.
Just seams strange that he's running so much slower than his own rediculous best whilst others who are catching up with his times are found to have cheated. Sad to see it happen again. On the one hand, I don't like seeing dopers, though on the other it's good to see (some of) them getting caught.
Regarding Bolt, if he was on PEDs, I wonder if the authorities would cover it up?I can't begin to imagine the damage to athletics if Bolt was ever found to be doping. Not good news. Hate to say it but what are the chances of james dasaolu's name being mentioned next Every top athlete in this type of event dopes. Period The same could be said about Ben Johnson before he was caught, although he didnt quite have the same Charisma as Bolt.
I agree withwhat some of the others in here have said that all top class athletes take PED's. I remember talking to a friend of mine many years ago now who was a GB coach in Weightlifting. He told me then that all of our british stars were on PED's The one exception I would guess, would have been Paula Radcliffe. I think it's grossly unfair for some to be making the jump that because some athletes have tested positive for a banned substance all of a sudden they are 'all at it'.There has been absolutely no suggestion nor allegation that Bolt or Dasaolu have done anything wrong. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
But I will concede it is incredibly sad about Gay and Powell. whos not a substance in pro sports the people who are not i have to give them props
