6.8, no time for practice, likely to keep going up.

38 points this morning, looks like I could be down to 6.4 now. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Gone from 14.6 to 14.9 so far this year, not good.

New bats turning up this week though (Ping i20's) so fully expect to be a single figure golfer within a few months data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I've got the i20s. Best clubs I've had. Did you try them against the G20s?

wills Publish time 2-12-2019 21:10:56

I have been thinking about new clubs for the last twelve months and have tried quite a few brands. The Mizuno forged were top of the list until......

I saw the Ping fitting chap up at our driving range and after a chat and a bit of measuring spent about an hour and a half trying different shafts with different heads, including the G20s, and the i20s just felt great. I have used Wilson Deep Red Fatshaft (regular graphite) for the last 8 years, the i20s added a bit of distance to normal but more importantly they were consistently going straighter with a bit of draw instead of varying degrees of slice.

Really looking forward to getting them data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

So are you playing better golf with them?

eireann10 Publish time 2-12-2019 21:10:56

after a good year in 2011 i tried a few swing and grip changes lately.

afer a few ropey rounds and going from 4.9 to 5.1 i am starting to get used to it and had a good round except for 3 really poor putts coming in

anyhoo, handicap is 5.0 which is my aim to stay at this year (cant see me getting any lower)

Wills... Yes I'm definitely playing better with them. Expecting my handicap to come down this year (if I can make time to practice) and that is solely down to changing to the i20s

I used to tell people that my handicap was 9 as that was the number of balls that I would lose on each hole. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
