Could have, perhaps should have ended in a draw, which to be honest would have been the right out come from this fantastic and compelling match. With about 10 minutes to go England were defending their scrum when the Irish shove come on and the TV replay showed an English hand playing the ball backwards, missed by all officials. No doubt with 10 minutes left on the clock the Irish would have opted for the kick which was almost right in front of the posts and I couldn't see Sexton missing that one.

Best Wishes to Brian O'Driscoll today on his last ever home appearance.

Without doubt the greatest Irish rugby player ever, and one of the world's finest.

Thought England outplayed Wales today in pretty-much every respect.

Sadly, Wales' best player by a country mile is now out for the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder. So my fellow Cardiff supporters won't get the chance to bid him farewell at the Arms Park. Gutted.

Championship is now Ireland's to lose!

Winning in Paris is never easy and we've got a poor record there.
I can also see England running up a big score against the Italians.

Ain't over yet.

England deserved the win. Priestland was extremely poor. The number of penalties that England gave away at the breakdown showed that the Welsh forwards were winning the collisions yet nothing was being done when the ball reached the half backs. Bigger should have been brought on a half time.

Never mind, at least I can cheer for Ireland with a clear conscience on Super Saturday. It's the Irish championship to lose but I don't think they'll ever have a better chance against a misfiring France. I also think that the Italians have a good game somewhere inside them, they just need to cut out the silly individual mistakes. Can't see them beating England but could very well run them close.

I agree that Priestland was poor, he usually is. That Mike Philips is another player that shouldn't even make it to the bench, he so slow.
Only managed about 60mins of the game before I gave up watching, Gatland really needs to realise some players just have an off season and letting them play to the 60th minute just isn't good management.
England are sure to win this year, next year and I expect them to be in the final of the World Cup next year. Wales need to bring in some of the new lads quick, get them some exposure at the top level ready for the World Cup.
At least I can take some pleasure from watching my club rugby, Cardiff Blues. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Keep the faith, brother.... Now big Phil's quit, we'll get a top-flight DoR and be challenging for the HEC (or whatever) in 2014/'15..... Mark my words.

(fingers firmly crossed)....... data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
