Kevin Pieterson - Any thoughts ?
Its a bit sh*t imho. Probably could have done without Piers Morgan been so vocal. But having been told to knuckle down and score some county runs and doing just that he is then told "thanks but no thanks, because we don't trust you. Oh , do you want to be an Advisor ? "Its not going to help him been recalled to see out his contract at the IPL. He should have stayed to bat out the summer season. imo For Strauss to say there's a trust issue preventing him from playing for England, but at the same time offer him a role as advisor to the one day side, is absolutely farcical. England cricket certainly isn't in a good place right now. We are awful at the moment. Selectors have lot to answer for.
Kp as a person going by what's written doesn't strike me as a top bloke or anything but he's our best batsman.
Would Ronaldo be dropped cause he's an ego grabbing ****? I don’t follow cricket at all but wasn’t KP dropped/suspended/sacked (whatever you want to call it) from the England set up because he sent text messages to the opposition about the England team?
Didn’t he also slag off most of the England team and the England team set up in a book?
If that’s the case then isn’t it refreshing that he’s been told that he cannot play for England again despite being good enough? He had been re-integrated since then
They have all gone I think
Yes , except for the fact he was told there was a clean slate but he had to play county cricket and score runs. which he has done. Also fact he was told he could have advisory role even though he can't be trusted apparently. #strausslogic In my opinion Pieterson should be nowhere near the England setup but the ECB have really handled the situation wrong. Just hope the media get over it and back the team next thursday And his reaction since kind of backs that up. Also having friend like Piers Morgan doesn't do him any favours Anymore thoughts?
Stopped watching and playing cricket back in my teens, watching ECB swigging champagne while the field collapses is a joke.
