Rugby World Cup 2015 Ticket Ballot
There must be some AVF members amongst the five-million applications!Got my email this morning. Did not secure personal first choice picks but will get to see four-different sides and the opening ceremony so will take that!
England v Fiji (yes)
England v Australia (no)
England v Wales (no)
Australia v Wales (yes)
(all Twickenham) Got one game in the ballot and one outside of ballot through a mate who has debenture tickets at Cardiff .
So in the ballot I got the QF that Ireland will be in if they win the group (otherwise it's France) v the runners up in NZ's group, likely to be the Pumas. 2 tickets for the bargain price of £311 !!!!
I also got 4 tix (2 adult 2 kids) for Ireland v Canada in Cardiff through the debenture tickets.
Just travel and accommodation to sort now, but tickets are extortionately priced!! I got one match out of 6, England v Wales. Happy with that, wasn't expecting to get any. Didn't get any.....its the olympics all over again.......and then I get an email from Viagogo offering me tickets.....ho hum.... Got this email on 05/11 Tickets arrived today data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I really want to get some tickets for me and my boys but I am astonished by the bloody prices!! To see the England Vs Australia game its going to cost me £365 minimum per ticket, I honestly things its a little disgusting!! Really want to go though................
I am looking at this site which looks legit:
Tickets - Concert, Sport & Theatre Tickets | viagogo the Ticket Marketplace Viagogo is a ticket marketplace for fans to sell unwanted tickets. The caveat is that you are relying upon the private seller to deliver. Some of these sites have a facility for fans to drop off tickets at a collection centre would also add my tickets have my name printed on.not sure if they are really intending to ID everyone but we shall see That's one of the reasons I didn't take up any of the ones I chose in the ballot or any exclusive pre-sales I managed to get in. I am very surprised at the frankly rip-off prices being asked for the England games. I'll just be watching it all on TV.
