In general, I'm not one for blaming match officials - it's a tough job and we wouldn't have games without them - but, I thought they missed quite a bit today. Too many AB players offside at breakdowns not picked up, couple of cheap-shot late tackles and I'm not entirely sure the last pass on both their first 2 tries weren't forward.
That said, much of the ABs play was sublime - Barratt was just superb as were Reid and Kane.
Ho hum - onwards and upwards.. kicking game needs to improve .Mako wasnt at his best either so I expect to see McGrath start next week.Good performances from Itoje,AWJ,the back row, Murray and Farrel. All to play for next week but the lIons will need ot improve for sure because the ABs certainly will Don't think SBW will be playing for them next week. 4-week ban for SBW, no further punishment for Sean O'Brian. Very happy with SoB verdict. He has been at the centre if our great disruptive defence. Well that was an unexpected end to the series.
Weird thing about a drawn game and series. Just seems odd....
Nice to see Jon Foxy Davies given the player of the series award by his peers. I thought Furlong was the player of the series, but just shows what I know.... data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Always enjoyed watching foxy play.A great rugby head and he commits to the gain line, at pace.
Didn't get to see the final test.I'll watch it in a few weeks when I get chance.
Happy with a draw. The players and coaching staff must have had a great experience down there.
I bet the lucky fans that got to watch it live down there loved it too.
