For me I find it about the same amount of time and effort in terms of travel, time taking the pictures and post processing as regular landscape, and less than sports or events, with three important caveats and one exclusion:
1. Excludes pictures of deep sky objects composed from 100s of individual images over days.I've never tried that but would be very time consuming I think.
2.It's vital to have a wide angle lens that is sharp wide open, otherwise it's endless messing about and ultimately less than satisfying results
3.Timing has to be flexible. On clear nights with no moon I set the alarm as needed. E.g. Last week that meant getting up and out at 2am and back by 5am.
4.Need to scope out suitable locations in advance so you know exactly where to go and no messing about in the dark. ideally with a good landscape and little street lights etc.
definitely worth giving it a try.

For me its putting the word 'photography' after their name. Makes them sound like a pro until you see the images.

Birds...bugs...birds...bugs...

At the moment all the image sharing threads I watch elsewhere seem to be full of the same two subjects.
I suspect it's because lots of people have bought E-M1 Mkii and are using Pro Capture to photograph birds.

I'm confident she’s been posting over on TP recently, same style images, same posting format and images disappearing.

After a recent thread post though I don’t know if she will be around much longer, assuming I’m correct and it’s her of course but a recent selfie, subsequently deleted, did look like others I recall seeing.

Loved her work data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Here's the last thread they done, the similarities are there I think
