DIY Photo Calendar recommendations

Hi chaps.

In the past I've made a number of phonebooks and calendars using the Apple Photos (previously iPhoto) app and been really pleased with the results.

With the latest Mac OS version, Apple have decided to stop offering the print service themselves and recommend a 3rd-party plug-in service for calendars, Mimeo. The software is pretty straightforward to use, but when I can to the "Buy now" option, the cost turns out to be $19.99 (which is OK) but the postage is the same (seems there's ONLY a US option hence the high cost of posting to the UK).

So, I've been looking for an alternative and Snapfish seems a good option, both quality and costs - they certainly get good reviews.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of their service or any alternative suggestions?

I think that both photobox and vistaprint are offering 50% off at the moment

Have you been through the other options for Photos? Not got round to it yet but I think there are some UK options:

Create and order print products in Photos with Project Extensions

I used to use Photobox but have found it buggy as anything recently.

My last Calendar was from Snapfish and I was very happy with that.

I've used photobox for calendars, which reminds me need to do one for next year, always been good for me.

Thanks for the responses chaps.

Apologies for the abrupt reply yesterday - I was a tad rushed. Had more time to view the responses now...

Thanks - I'll check these out..

Thanks - I'd previously seem Mimeo and used it, as per my OP, but I now see they've added Motif. I like this interface and easy manipulation of photos. But, for the life of me, I can't find way to add tea to the actual calendar pages - i.e. birthdays, etc. Surely there's a way to do that? Seems a very basic function of a calendar app. Their online help is woeful in this area data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I've registered with Snapfish and like the interface. So far, it's my favourite replacement, with only one this I'd like to do but can't and that's to add a "back-cover" image on the rear of the December calendar.

Thanks - I'll take a look at this.

Just had a snapfish code through this morning. EARLY1118 for 30% off or 50% if you spend over £35 but expires tomorrow.

Thanks - when I registered, they sent me a personal (apparently) code that lasts a bit longer. //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gifdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
