Landscape to portrait, simple?
I have had a bit of a clear out and have been left with a bunch of photo frames which take a portrait image rather than a landscape.I have Googled but there does not seem to be a method I can understand to convert a landscape image into a portrait.
Any advice gratefully received. It's not that straightforward or even sensible to "convert" a landscape orientated photo to portrait as you would need to stretch the image in onebdimension which would produce some really weird effects.
You reall ned to review the shots to see of there's a portait aspect crop that you could make and that crop youkr image.
BTW why cant you just rotate the frame to landscape ?
Jim Your suggestion of rotating made me have another look at one particular frame which has positions for three 10 x 15 cm slots for photos and I with very little effort be able to mod the frame slightly and do what you suggest.
I am embarrassed that I did not see this yesterday, I put it down to my age.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Thanks. Don't forget you can always cut (or get cut) a new mount to allow you to use the frame the other orientation. The frames in question are wall mounted but it is not that big a deal sort sort them, really should have seen this yesterday, my 'fibro-fog' working overtime.
