Any camera whizzes here d5600 playing up

Hi all.
My d5600 worked fine yesterday but today went to take picture of clients tattoo and camera wouldn't work so just used my phone tbinking the nikons battery was dead. Fresh battery camera still didn't look turned on.

Screen just stays black, when looking through view finder it's says err. When I press button to take photo camera makes noise and err changes to f--. Press button again camera makes different sounding click and says err again. I've cleaned contacts on camera and lense, checked apature arm works and isn't bent. Changed batteries and men card, left battery put for a while, tried the 2 reset buttons and tried my other lense.

Has any body got any ideas or shall I send it off to nikon.

When you say the camera makes a noise, I'm assuming it's not the normal noise you're expecting when you take a photo? How does the camera behave in liveview mode?

From what you've said it sounds like there's a fault with the shutter/mirror mechanism although I'm not familiar with that particular camera, it does sound like you've tried everything I would have including changing to a different lens.

The LCD won't come on which is what the live view displays on. The noise is hard to explain the difference. Tried Any other lense as well no luck

Have you got the snapbridge app on your phone? Just had a quick look & there is a video on the Argos add. I'm peeing in the wind, but maybe the app would bring it back to life?
