No one should pay almost as much for a phone accessory as for a phone itself. I bought a lg g watch r from the forums on here for a great price compared to new and it's the best thing I bought in a long while, but some of these prices companies are charging for these are ludicrous.

Just bought an Lg G Watch R from these forums and while it looks lovely and mostly works well for the life of me I just can`t get it to notify me of a an SMS. I`ve tried using the message app on my Note 4, Hangouts and Coffee sms but none work. Also for some reason it now doesn`t display my contacts whereas yesterday it did.
Then again I did just buy it to have a go and see what these smart watches are about.

I can't decide between a LG urbane or 2015 Moto 360... The Urbane looks a little chunky ...

I had a pebble, then a moto 360, then a Gear s. I ended up selling them all on, I love the idea of a smart watch but they just don't quite seem good enough yet.

Other than a wrist notifications device (which may be sufficient for some), smart watches really only come into their own when paired with a bluetooth headset. In this manner, without using your phone at all, you can listen to and control music, make and answer calls & messages, receive notifications and, would you believe it, even tell the time. Frankly even in their current state I think they're a brilliant creation.

I ended up using it to keep track of the footy scores more than anything. The water proof ones didn't perform well in a shallow hot tub, had to be used with specific music apps, could be very glitchy at times. Samsung had there own maps option which didn't compare to Google maps for me. Voice control was very poor and I wasn't a fan of the Google cards system. I seemed to always be flicking through old notifications.
I'd happily take a phone as nice looking as the moto 360 for a notifications device if it was cheaper. Equally I liked the big screen on the gear s but mine developed a fault which was ideal as I was already getting a bit fed up with it.
I'm not giving up yet and ill probably have another at some stage.

fair enough. Unfortunately I have it in my head that I want one. It wont go until Ive got one.
I want it for notifications and good fitness tracking.
Looking at the Urbane, Moto 360 or Sony 3 (as a cheaper option)

I can totally relate and clearly everyone will have different opinions. I love the concept and have no doubt I'll dip in again once a few new models come out.
