Smart watch with golf gps - Maybe Apple Watch Series 2??

Hi, my wife's got a Fitbit Alta and I've seen how much she uses it so thinking about getting seething similar. I thought the Surge would suit me well but then thought I might as well get on that include golf ball position to green gps distances too. I've never liked actual golf gps watches, they're too chunky, so I'm after a slim nice looking daily wrist watch with Fitbit type features & golf distance gps feature.

Looked at Garmin Vivoactive earlier, looks like it does everything I need except HR but not too sure that's vital for me. The new HR version looks too big for me, I have skinny wrists.
There's a Sony that looks like it might to the job. Anything else out there I should be looking at?

Thanks

Thanks for all your suggestions so far, it's quite overwhelming

I've tried the Sony Smartwatch 3 on this morning & it's too chunky for my womanlike wrists. The Garmin Vivoactive fits better but still looks a bit odd, it's also not the prettiest of watches.

Anything else I need to be looking for? Just want a small smart watch with on screen Golf shot GPS enablement

Thanks!

Just been reading up on Apple watches as 2nd hand ones seems to be quite reasonably priced.
Then I read about the new Series 2!

So with built in GPS on Series 2, does this mean the golf distance apps will run standalone without the battery on your iPhone draining away in your bag?

In theory, yes. The apps will probably need updating though I would imagine.

I have the original Apple Watch in 38mm which is great for smaller wrists. If you want GPS for golf then you would need the new Series 2.

I use the vivoactive for golf and it's fine. Not as many features as a specific golf gps watch but it measures front centre and rear of green. You can also record scores.Only downside is that you need tcan't have your phone with you and on as the vivoactive takes its feed from the phone.
