Apple Watch for fitness
Evening all!Keep getting tempted by the Apple Watch 2... I'm determined to start doing more exercise and feel that having something that logs what I'm doing and can show me comparisons and that I'm improving etc will probably push me to get out and exercise more.
Is the Apple Watch overkill for exercise only? I like how it looks, I like the swimming recording etc but am I wasting my money with one? I had one of the original models and sold it after a couple of weeks. I like my watches and felt it was a waste leaving expensive watches sitting at home and wearing an Apple Watch all the time. This will no doubt go the same way. I'll wear it when out on the bike and walking etc and the odd day at work but will no doubt leave it behind when I'm out with friends etc etc.
What do people think? Is spending £400 on what's essentially a nice looking fitness tracker a complete waste or are they as good as a lot of people make out...?! You say you have several watches, so is yet another one a big problem?
Unless you are planning on lots of swimming, and need a GPS device (if you don't take your iPhone with you) you could get a Series 1.
I bought my Watch for fitness, and it has helped me. You won't get an overall movement/step count unless you wear it all the time. You will be disappointed again. No doubt.
It's not much different to the first.
