Photography trolley and Workstation research

I am a Nottingham Trent University final year student who is carrying out a research and design project. The project is looking into trolleys which are used for transporting equipment as well as using the same product as a workstation. I am conducting my research phase and would appreciate if you could give me any information on the following points:

If you have experience using some form of trolley to move equipment or one which is also a workstation then please let me know some information about it (if possible please include an image, cost new, weight of product, max load, attachments/ adaptations you have made, why it meets your needs, how it could be improved in your opinion).

If you have not used a trolley previously then some information on why you have not? Would you be interested in buying one? If so, is there any features which are a necessity? How much would you be willing to spend?

Any additional information you can give would be useful too!

Thanks in Advance,
Alex

@PAGE26 Really struggling to visualise what you're talking about here?
That said I don't have any use for a trolley - my camera kit all fits in a small shoulder bag and I usually take out a smaller bag with only part of my gear at any one time.

There was a bit of discussion over at the Olympus E-Group Forums on a similar subject that might be of interest?

If you decide to post there (or on any forum), then take a look at rules and make sure that you're complying.
Some forums have rules about asking for product development advice or posting surveys, so make sure you're not going to upset the owners/moderators by accident before you've even started.

Good luck with your studies.

Not really sure of the need for a trolley workstation..... For photoshoots in the studio you have your desk for workstation of screen to preview the pictures, and all the stuff is there so don't really need a trolley.Photoshoots on location possibily need a trolley if there is a lot of lighting stuff but hardly ever and, usually that's in a building with deskspace available. On location outdoors I'd only take what I can carry. For filming there is so much more gear; rigs, audio etc in addition then yes a trolley comes in handy for the peli cases. The trolley I have folds flat for easy storage when not in use.

Magliner is what I would use. Hideously over priced so I hire when required.
