Tablet not charging
My Acer Iconia One 10 will not charge. Only had it since Christmas. When I plugged it in the other day, it took a few hours just to start charging. Then it took a further few hours to get up to 2 flashing bars. Tried it for 2 days now and still stuck on 2 flashing bars. Not sure if it's the battery or the charger. If it's the charger, where is the best place to get a genuine charger for that tablet? Have you tried using the USB and charging it through the computer? It might be the adapter causing the problem No I haven't, but I've just had to get a new battery for my laptop and need to charge and discharge it a few times. I will try that thanks. If you've only had it since Christmas, approach the retailer about a replacement or repair. I never registered the tablet when I bought it. Does that mean it won't be under guarentee? Where did you get it from? Registering it is with the manufacturer.Your guarantee is with the retailer/place you bought it from.
Hopefully you've still got your receipt or proof of purchase. I got it from Argos and have my receipt. It's just been plugged in for an hour. I then turned it on and it opened the battery status page. It was only on 4 per cent. When I wiggled the cord on the charger it changed back and forth between 'on AC charge' and '8 minutes left.' Could it be the charger? Where can I get a genuine charger from? Is it worth trying a new charger before taking the tablet back to Argos? Should I try my phone charger? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Yes, or the socket on the tablet.
