Samsung Tab3 Not charging

Up to now my Tab3 has been charging fine right up to a couple of days ago but today it suddenly it will not charge just a blank black screen . My brother also has a Samsung Tablet and his suddenly stopped charging then a few days later started to charge again and has been fine since. Any ideas how to solve this problem please?

Do a factory reset

Do factory reset. If still having a problem then reboot and try different charging cable/charger.
