128GB USB stick will NOT work on Samsung tablet
I own a rather old Samsung Tablet TAB 3 and I also have Some USB Sticks some are 32gb 64gband one is 120gb. I can play any thing ok with 32gb but above that I cant I get this message when trying 64gb or the 120Gb "High Power USB Device ,Can not access to this device Device needs ext power supply" Can someone tell what has happened here please I also get this message as well " Blank SD or is unsupported does this mean my best plan will get a updated tablet? or is there a way to get round it You need to edit your thread title from "will now work" to "will not work" ; the title made me expect to find that it had recently started to properly recognise larger USB sticks - perhaps after a firmware update to the tablet.Only advice I can give is for you to check you do have the latest or last/most recent TAB3 software/firmware installed. Look on GSM Arena for the tablet. That should say what the maximum supported size of an SD card is for that tablet. I think I have found it 64 gb sim card it says it can take. I tried a 64GB it still would not take my 120usb stick see if there is a software upgrade though That will be a 128GB stick, not 120GB. Corrected you are right. Thanks
checked upgrade software is up to date
