Android tablet question.......
Hi,I've had various iPads for years but Apple have finally done my head in and I'm thinking seriously about getting an Android tablet. After a bit of research I think the Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus will do me nicely but before I buy I have a deal-breaker question to which I can find no answer on the net.
The Lenovo runs Android 7 - is there a way of disabling video autoplay? I know it can be disabled in various apps, such as Facebook and Twitter, but can it be disabled in web browsers?
The main reason I've gone off Apple is because IOS 11 doesn't allow disabling of autoplay in Safari or any other browser (I've tried them all!). If Android is the same there's no point in switching.
Grateful for the views of any Android 7 users who have found a solution to this problem.
Thanks,
Chris It will depend on the browser. Chrome in Android has the setting. https://www.avforums.com/attachments/screenshot_20180209-152350-jpg.977248/ Ah, very helpful Jamie, thank you. I take it you have no issues with autoplay on websites then? Dunno, I've only just found the option TBH. LOL, OK thanks. Not wanting to rain on parades etc but look at the lenovo tab 3 plus 10 inch with the high Res screen before deciding on the tab 4. . Different beasts .
